Everything is made with love by me - Katie. I make every individual piece by hand using slow, hand-building processes and also throwing on the wheel. I rarely make two of the same pieces as I am continuously developing with each creation. I hope each of my pieces will be treasured for years as they are made to last, in aspiration that people buy less and consider the making process whilst using their piece. It’s important to me that I keep the human touch visible in everything that I make. I love the small imperfections that make something treasured truly special. In a world where we all feel compelled to relentlessly strive for perfection and many of the objects in our homes are mass-produced, I’m hoping my pieces can inspire a love for the beauty of the irregular, uneven and imperfect.
